There can not be anything more special than a hand written letter sent from the highest post office of the world. I’m in Spiti: The Land of Lamas and I have reached Hikkim. Hikkim has the highest post office in the world.
I sent three post cards and bought a number of post cards and got it stamped for the post master. I have saved these for friends whose address I was not knowing. There was no network so I couldn’t confirm the address.
The first letter I sent to The One I Love, the second letter I sent to my teacher.
Well the third letter was addressed to me. It was sent home. It will serve as a sweet reminder that I had visited this beautiful place.
You can do it too. Visit different places and send postcards to yourself. It will serve as a beautiful reminder of your journey. There is nothing more special that handwritten notes.
